Art Nouveau Demi-parure
An exceptional Demi-parure comprising of necklace and drop earrings
Art nouveau circa 1910
Thought to originate from Czechoslovakia
Gilded brass with hand cut faceted amethyst glass
Seven suspended shaped flowers containing en tremblant (with movement) central stones with a further linked tear drop. Designed in a manner to move with the body and brilliantly catch the light
Earrings match exactly and are expertly crafted in the same fashion
In perfect condition throughout. No damage.
The gilded brass does differentiate in colour with wear in accordance with age. More noticeable on the reverse where it has been in contact with the body.
For me this great patina adds to the purity of the suite. Never has it been attempted to be cleaned or polished.
Each flower 2cm diameter
3.5cm drop earrings
